Brain Stew

I wrote this in Neal Cassady's notebook a long time ago.

"The boy's a genius!"
They all had said
Then seperated his body
From his pretty head
They sliced and diced
Into pieces, nice
They picked his brain
& Left the rest for mice
"Fill his mind,
But don't stuff with fluff,
Insert our ideals
Till he's had enough."
They did, to the kid
And replaced his lid
But when set loose
He ran and hid
Though they filled his head,
They left a hole
Brains aren't shit
When you have no soul
